Bid Club is a small site. This page says what is collected, why, and how to reach the person who runs it.

Payments
Stripe processes payments. Card numbers and bank details go to Stripe, not to Bid Club. Stripe has its own privacy notice. Bid Club receives what it needs to record a completed bid, boost, or suppress: typically amount, listing identity, and a payment reference.
Checkout and session rate limits
Checkout and session-check rate limits store your IP in Cloudflare KV so those endpoints cannot be hammered. Those IPs are not used to build a marketing list.
Comments
Notes on a listing are anonymous. No name, no handle, no email is asked for. Bigotry is dropped and is not kept. Notes are stored on the Bid Club server (anonymous, no account). They are shared with every visitor.
Cheers and reactions
CHEER and emoji reactions are stored on the Bid Club server (anonymous, no account). They are not tied to a name or an account. They do not move rank. They are shared with every visitor.
Clicks
Outbound clicks are a count on the listing, not who clicked. No account.
Cookies
Bid Club shows a cookie banner on first visit. Accept keeps technical cookies for the site and Stripe payments, and allows the optional anonymous "who is here" presence ping. Essential only keeps technical cookies for the site and payments, and stops presence. There is no ad-tech farm. Your choice is stored in this browser as bc_cookie_consent and a first-party cookie bc_consent (all or essential). If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Bid Club treats that as Essential only.
Who is here
The live chip is two anonymous counts: browsers with a tab open, and unique browsers since this counter started. A hash of IP plus browser. No name. No account. Presence only runs after you Accept on the cookie banner. Essential only stops those pings.
Logs
The host may keep ordinary request logs (time, path, status, IP, user agent) for abuse, uptime, and debugging. Logs are not sold and are not used to profile you for ads.
What is not sold
Bid Club does not sell personal data. There is no ad network on this page and no sale of notes, reactions, or checkout identifiers.
Opt out
This browser. Clear this browser wipes this browser's CHEER, reactions, notes cache, leftover local board cache, and cookie consent (bc_cookie_consent / bc_consent). The cookie banner comes back so you can choose again. It does not delete server notes or other visitors' cheers. Clearing them does not take a paid listing off the public board.
Presence. Essential only on the cookie banner stops the live "who is here" presence ping. Accept turns it back on.
The board and payments. A paid listing is public on purpose. If you want a listing taken down, or you want server records deleted (rate-limit IPs, payment references we hold), email Ryan. Stripe still has its own copy of the charge. A takedown is not a refund.
